(N Visas)
     The N nonimmigrant category is reserved for a parent or "child" (unmarried and under the age of 21) of a special immigrant of an officer or employee, or a former officer or employee, of a foreign government recognized de jure by the United States and which government is a member of an international organization under the International Organizations & Immunities Act. NATO members are covered. N nonimmigrants may be admitted for up to three (3) years with extensions in increments not to exceed three (3) years, provided the person remains a "child." Employment is authorized without restriction as to type or location of employment, provided the person obtains an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) from the USCIS.
